Finding Your USP

Many affiliate advertisers think that offering a product that is being sold by several- if not multitudes- of their fellow colleagues will make things much more difficult for them.  After all, they will be battling for the same group.  They will be advertising the same product.  And the need for the product is never boundless.

This, on the other hand, is the incorrect way of thinking.

Even if you will be battling with 10 million colleagues, you can still come out on top.

How?

Allow me to reveal to you the enigma of the best affiliates on the net nowadays.  This cloak-and-dagger is, simply, what hurls them to the very summit of the ranking.

It's called the USP, an abbreviation for one of the most important arms in promoting: the unique selling proposition.

The unique selling proposition, as you can very well  guess, is composed of three terms: 1) unique; 2) selling; and 3) proposition.

The USP should be exclusive, signifies, it should be something that you - and YOU SOLELY- will be displaying.  No one else should promote for the same thought.  No one else should atrract the people with the same concept.

The final goal of the USP is to sell, to make an income.  Many times, you will have to spend for the USP.  However, you should ensure that a lucrative ROI would be accomplished.  Affiliate marketing is an enterprise.  You shouldn't be losing money.

The USP is a plan, a bid, something that you will submit to your prospective audience.  Hence, the USP should be something they will deem tempting.  The USP should be something that will be tough for them to decline.

If you will show your affiliate piece with a superb USP, people will decide to purchase from you rather than buying from other affiliates selling the same product.

Organizing your personal USP is truly a pleasurable course.  All you have to do is to procure deviations to your offer that your prospective consumer will definitely like.  Here are some examples of established USPs:

-    Enclosing the affiliate product with the associate's particular goods;
-    Offering returns, which will be removed from the fee that the member will be entitled to;
-    Giving out future discounts which can be shouldered by the cut the member will be given to;

-    Offering association to an elite organization that will be allowed some goodies.

Hopefully, the aforementioned examples will stir you to produce with a really moving USP.
